A Taste of Discovery does not belong to the DPTO; it is Discovery School’s bi-lingual cookbook, featuring delicious recipes from a wide range of cultures, as well as stories, artwork and pictures from our school community. It is beautifully designed and printed, and made to last for many years of use!

As such, A Taste of Discovery is a powerful marketing tool, and gives a concrete example of what an active, creative and diverse community like ours can produce.

We have sold about 250 copies of the cookbook here in Honduras and around the world. Besides Honduras, our cookbook can already be found in the US, Canada, France, Germany, and Brazil. We still have about 700 copies to sell, and we ask you to help us reach our goal of selling them ALL.

The sale price of A Taste of Discovery is 250Lps. If each DS family buys 4 books, spending 1,000Lps, our stock will be gone in no time. Proceeds will be invested in school projects and initiatives that will improve the school campus. Families can resell the book, or give it as a gift to families that might want to enroll at our school. Who knows, perhaps with your investment of 250Lps, you will bring a new family to Discovery School during the Enrollment Drive period (October 15 – January 31), and get a discount in your tuition!
